Summary
Calmec has produced many customized Machining
Centres for material removal operations. Single or multi-station machines
are dependant on the operations required. Many involve index tables and servo
automation and are custom designed to the specific part. Most incorporate our own line of
Drilling, Milling & Tapping Units.
Machining Centres can encompass a number of
operations, from auto-loading to the material removal operations to hole
testing, unloading, and secondary parts assembly. The extent of automation
required is generally a function of the annual volumes required.
