Calmec's line of Drilling, Milling & Tapping Units are available individually or they can be combined in a part specific machining centre.  Calmec has three size ranges of units to do most production machining applications.  The units  are available with motors up to 3 HP and have a capacity of 1" in steel.  The units use pre-loaded linear bearing tracks ensuring repeatability, rigidity, and durability.

Reduced Maintenance

By using long lasting heavy duty pre-loaded linear bearings and tracks, our units are extremely rigid and durable.  All the units use standard stock components.  By doing so, worn parts can be easily obtained and replaced, at a much lower cost than that of custom items.  Our units are also available with quick change tooling to minimize tooling changeover time.
